The Challenge

Eunomia, a global sustainability consultancy and certified B Corp, creates innovative, science-led approaches that drive positive change.

With 150+ staff across five international offices, the organisation sought fractional marketing and communications leadership to stabilise and strengthen its marketing function following a period of significant team change. The brief was to support the development of a new team and to create a new marketing strategy to drive lead generation.

The Solution

Over a six-month engagement, working a few days per week, Future Stories’ Sam Brown embedded within the Eunomia team providing fractional marketing leadership and hands-on support. Key activity included:

  • Team leadership and development: providing interim leadership and coaching existing team members using a strengths-based approach.
  • Reviewing existing channels and processes to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing a content-led marketing strategy, in collaboration with the team and business development expert Nigel Clark.
  • Email systems repair: introducing a re-subscription campaign and restructured data capture processes to improve effectiveness and compliance.
  • Website overhaul: leading the procurement of a new website, delivered within three months and now live.
  • Lead generation via webinars: designing a repeatable digital marketing process to promote webinars.
  • Team recruitment: supporting the recruitment of a new team, including the internal promotion of a team member to Head of Marketing Communications.
